Service Description:
|
Eight short stay overnight respite beds located in Patty's Place * minimum stay is 2 nights, maximum stay is 14 nights in a row * can book up to a total of 24 nights per calendar year, capped at 5 weekend stays * 8 private bedrooms
- trial stay of two nights must be completed before a longer reservation can be booked
- trial reservation can be booked online
- stays must take place within 4 months of booking
- expect to spend about 30 minutes with staff at check in and check out to review family member’s needs and their stay
- reservations cancelled within 72 hours of the stay will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee per night booked
Guest criteria:- resident of Halton or Mississauga
- living with a cognitive impairment diagnosis
- able to cope in a social environment
- able to weight bear and only needs minimal assistance from staff during transfers
- poses no serious risk of harm to other guests or staff members
- is a non-smoker
- medications needs can be met by staff and provided in a blister pack

24 hours all-inclusive care is $100 ($76 for an overnight, $24 for daytime care in the Soper Club) * trial stays are $176 in total * $24 for early check in and $24 for late check out * fee assistance available
