Service Description:
|
A national Canadian network of families advocating for evidence-based drug policy reform and providing peer support to those affected by substance-use-related harms and deaths
Provides free, peer-facilitated support groups for adults supporting a loved one who uses or has used substances
- offers confidential, peer-led support groups where participants can share experiences, receive emotional support, and learn about local resources
- provides harm-reduction-based support, not a 12-step or abstinence-only model
- allows participants to attend as long as needed, with no requirement to share personal stories before they are ready
- operates small groups (typically 10–12 people) with waitlists as needed
