Service Description:
|
Delivers public education, safety information and support programs that connect, empower and protect Halton residents through partnership-based community policing
- provides community education on topics such as safer drug use, emergency preparedness, frauds and scams, intimate partner violence, mental health supports and general safety tips
- helps residents access relevant resources and support services for crime prevention, personal safety and crisis situations
- supports collaboration between police and the community to enhance public safety and well-being across Halton Region
- Community Consultation Committees and the Citizens Police Academy are coordinated through this office
