Service Description: A program that provides stroke survivors with opportunities to work on improving mobility and independence through therapeutic, recreation and social activities * participants can take part in a wide range of activities, with the option to choose from land or water sessions * lunch break * exercise session * choice of individual activities (cards, painting/drawing, arts and crafts, board games, bowling, Wii, Bocce, table tennis and other activities) * outings or special events * Tai Chi * speech exercises to help participants enhance their speech and communication skills * guest speakers * participants are responsible for their own transportation

Fees: Program fees * Admission - Registration fee required * incidental fees may be levied
Application: Referral form with physician consent and registration form * participants must attend an assessment interview before being admitted in the program * participants must be able to participate in all aspects of the program
Eligibility / Target Population: Stroke survivors * adults over 21 years of age * participants will be asked to complete an interview/assessment prior to acceptance into the program
