Service Description: Adult Day Program (known as Clubs of Acclaim Health) * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for older adults, frail elderly and people with disabilities in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care * assistance with eating, walking, toileting and taking medications (no injections) * transportation is not included in program fee * virtual club adult day programming also available


Participants may participate in any of the following activities:
  • music sessions and/or music therapy
  • sport games and exercise classes
  • pet therapy
  • baking
  • gardening
  • discussion groups and word games
  • special events and themed days
  • guest speakers and entertainers
  • coffee and conversation
  • relaxation and quiet time
  • applied social research projects through the Centre for Elder Research at Sheridan

Fees: $24 per day * fee assistance available for eligible participants * additional fee for transportation

Eligibility / Target Population: Older adults and adults (18 years and older) with disabilities, who need physical, social, or emotional supports * Ontario Health atHome Care Coordinators assess the needs of applicants
