Service Description:

The largest non-governmental direct provider of social services in Canada, serving Georgetown and the surrounding community.
Food Bank operations Tue and Thu, 10 am-12 noon by appointment onlyEmergency Services Response will be in operation where required from our Regional Office as requiredphone calls to local office will be accepted in this regard
Provides emergency assistance to those in need in many different ways:
- food assistance
- clothing
- temporary shelter
- pastoral counselling
- information about and referral to other agencies
- community services (Eg. camping services, Christmas assistance, etc)
- emergency disaster services (operated Regionally)

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Assistance available to individuals who have been receiving General Welfare from the Region of Halton, for a period of time in excess of three months, or Family Benefits from the Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS). Screening process follows.
