Service Description: A volunteer Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary unit dedicated to the protection of life and property on Lake Ontario adjacent to the Oakville shoreline

Approximately 50 volunteers provide a marine search and rescue capability during the boating season
  • the rescue boat operates from a Navy Street slip
  • monitors Marine Radio Channels 16 and 68 during patrol hours
  • members receive year round training in search and rescue, marine radio operations, navigation, boat handling, First Aid, and CPR
