Service Description:
A registered charity and the largest non-governmental direct provider of social services in Canada, serving Oakville and the surrounding community


Community Family Services include:
  • social services
  • emergency food assistance
  • spiritual counselling
  • summer camp assistance
  • youth programs
  • budget counselling
  • individual assistance on a case-by-case basis 
  • volunteer services
  • referrals to all other Salvation Army institutions
  • Christmas assistance program for families in need of support during Christmas

Pathway of Hope 
  • The Pathway of Hope program is designed to help families achieve greater stability and independence. It provides personalized case management, connecting families with essential resources. The program works through community partnerships to offer comprehensive support and aims to create lasting positive changes for participating families

Individuals and families in crisis who need accommodation should call the Halton Region Coordinated Intervention Services Team, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm at 905-825-6000 ext 0. After hours, weekends and holidays, call 905-339-2918
