Service Description: 130 bed long-term care home * residential care for 72 private rooms and 52 basic rooms * 24-hour nursing and personal care * Dr. Jack Van Bendegem is the lead physician responsible for the coordination of clinical services in the home * secured unit is available * have specialists in wound care, continence care, falls prevention, end of life care, chronic disease management and dementia care
  • bedding and furniture
  • laundry and housekeeping
  • meals (special diet types available)
  • personal hygiene supplies
  • medical supplies and equipment (such as catheters, ostomy bags, or wound care supplies)
  • assistance with medication and activities of daily living
  • recreation and social programs

Additional services and facilities * fees may apply for some of these services:
  • exercise classes that focus on balance are held three times a week
  • palliative care program
  • hairdressing and barber services
  • dental care
  • foot care
  • respiratory care
  • chaplaincy/spiritual services
  • pharmacy
  • physiotherapy
  • occupational therapy
  • speech-language therapy
  • pet therapy program * through St John's Ambulance Pet Therapy Program
