Service Description: Non-profit housing building * 103 units (35 1-bedroom units, 77 2-bedroom units and 14 3-bedroom units) * large proportion of Chinese residents * 65 units are subsidized and their residents pay 30% of their income in rent, and 31 have market level rents * five of the 2-bedroom units are wheelchair accessible

Housing services provide older adults with essential support services in their homes to help them safely cope with daily activities and live independently in the community * this helps reduce unnecessary admission to long-term care homes, emergency departments and hospitals * services may include:
  • bathing, dressing, grooming
  • assistance with the activities of daily living
  • medication monitoring
  • assistance with toileting
  • assistance with eating
  • light housekeeping
  • laundry
  • meal preparation
  • security checks to assure client health and safety
  • care coordination, including needs assessments and referrals to community resources

Fees: Support services are free * rent geared to income or market rent
Application: For market rent units contact the property office * apply through Peel Access to Housing (PATH) for subsidized housing * mail in or drop off application * applications available on Region of Peel website
