Service Description:
|
A physician wound care specialist may be considered when a wound:
- is complex and chronic
- healing is not progressing even after an ET/WCA consultation
- appears to be infected and additional physician expertise is required
- etiology is unclear
Speak to your family physician or Care Coordinator (when receiving Ontario Health atHome Mississauga Halton services) to facilitate a referral
