Service Description:
|
Clinic offers chemotherapy treatment for oncology patients * chemotherapy may involve one drug, or a combination of two or more drugs, depending on the type of cancer * chemotherapy can be used in combination with other treatments such as surgery, or radiation
Oncology health care team consists of oncologists, oncology nurses, clinical trial nurses, oncology pharmacists, radiation therapists, medical physicists, medication access specialist/drug navigator, dietitians, psychosocial oncology team, hospital chaplain, and volunteers
Outpatient services:
- Breast screening
- Diagnostic Assessment Programs
- Systemic oncology - clinics and chemotherapy
- Medical, surgical and radiation oncologists teams
Psychosocial services:- Survivorship and follow-up care
- Nutrition support
- Drug coverage support
- Mental, emotional support and spiritual well-being
- Patient and family education
