Service Description:

Self-management and education rehabilitation program for people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) * provides education for individuals in order to help them manage their condition as well as provides coping strategies aimed at improving quality of life
- COPD is a disorder of the lungs and includes Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema * COPD can be related to smoking and exposure from particulate matter and/or toxic gases
- COPD is a progressive disease and cannot be cured, but by properly managing the disease, patient can have a better quality of life and better control of their symptoms
