Service Description:
|
Outpatient clinic that treats and manages of acute orthopedic injuries * provide follow-up care to patients who have recently visited the Emergency Department or who have had surgery * team consists of orthopedic surgeons, registered orthopedic technologists, clerical assistants and volunteers
Common services include:- assess and treat broken bones and musculoskeletal injuries
- cast/brace application and removal
- removing stitches and providing follow-up care for fractures and joint replacements (hip and knee)
- each appointment at the clinic will last about 2-3 hours
