Service Description:
|
Provides a lifeline for survivors of domestic violence, offering a safe bridge to independence. Offers support, guiding survivors towards a violence-free future with tailored assistance, counselling, and community resources. Program pillars:
Food Bank Program: Provide low-barrier access to essential food and hygiene items. The program ensures the diverse needs of the residents and outreach clients, are met and they can access nutritious meals and personal care items with ease
Legal Help: provides vital assistance to people navigating complex legal issues arising from abuse and violence. Offers accessible legal advocacy and support tailored to the client's unique situations, including help with family law, immigration, child custody, and restraining orders. Helps people understand their rights and options, and preparing them for court appearances and legal procedures
Housing Program: a Transitional Housing Program designed to support survivors of abuse on their journey to independence. This program provides assistance to find safe and stable housing for individuals and their children as they work towards rebuilding their lives. Participants receive comprehensive case management, including access to counseling, legal assistance, job readiness training, and life skills workshops
