Service Description: To promote purpose and belonging for people with dementia through the delivery of therapeutic gardening programs

Day Program
  • farm-based agricultural program for people with dementia
  • program offers respite to caregivers and/or families while addressing social care needs for members with dementia
  • most of the program is concentrated in its own Sensory Garden, a designated half acre plot on a 165 acre farm with a specialized horticultural therapeutic design for people with dementia to grow herbs, produce and flowers for a participant farm share and the farm store
Group visits
  • small group outings (3-5 clients per staff member)
  • customized program that may include horticultural activities, exploring our Sensory Garden, meeting the animals, and eating lunch in the garden
  • 2-hour or 3-hour tour with or without lunch * fees apply * reduced rates for multiple bookings or low-income people
  • support people with dementia to access the outdoors

Fees: Set fees * cost depends on care needs * subsidies are available
