Service Description:

Specialized nursing care - in wound, ostomy and continence (NSWOC) * advanced assessment, recommendations and advocacy provided to optimize healing for acute and chronic wounds of various etiologies (post surgical, burns, traumatic, venous, arterial, diabetic, autoimmune, malignant) * provide ostomy consultation for pre and post op support regarding ostomy education, pouching and skin concerns
Certified compression fitter providing lower leg assessment using a hand held doppler ultrasound. Screening of ABPI's and TBPI's may be done in the clients home. Recommendations are made for compression based on the client's needs and lifestyle

Fees:

Initial consultation fee ranges between $ 100 -$170 depending on the travel time to the client's home and the complexity of the situation

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Those who have any type of wound. People with an ileostomy, colostomy or urostomy. People with lower leg health concerns and swelling
