Service Description: Social club * program is volunteer-run and consists of the following activities:
  • book clubs
  • breakfast gatherings
  • card games (bridge/euchre)
  • walking groups
  • movie matinees
  • dining outings
  • theatre events
  • ladies lunch
  • stitch & chat ladies group
  • bowling
  • indoor short mat bowling
  • lawn bowling
  • golf (Derrydale)

Meetings: Five general meetings (January, March (AGM), May, September, November) featuring quality entertainment, educational information, health education and interactive social activities

Four seasonal social events (Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Summer Picnic, Oktoberfest) designed to foster new connections

Fees: Annual membership $30/person and $50/couple * no additional fees required
Application: Registration form available on-line
Eligibility / Target Population: All persons 55 years of age and older
Languages: English * Chinese (Cantonese) * Hindi * Italian
