Service Description: Provides services to individuals concerned with their own or another's involvement with alcohol or drugs * offers detailed assessments, as well as short-term individual and group counselling * services can be tailored to meet individual needs

It is the Peel site for the mandatory Back on Track (BOT) program, an education and treatment program for those convicted of impaired driving * call 905-629-1007 ext 225

Other services/programs include:
  • referrals to a wide range of services and help connect with those services
  • housing and support program (provides rent supplement and housing support to persons with severe mental illness and a substance use problem, who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless * to apply for addiction supportive housing, call Supportive Housing in Peel at 905-795-8742
  • street outreach program (provides support for people who are homeless and who struggle with substance use)
  • methadone case management (offers specialized help for people who are taking methadone as a treatment option)
  • community concurrent disorders program (offers short term transitional case management for up to 3 months for people who have a substance use problem and a mental illness, and who experience frequent visits to hospital or who are at risk and need extra support)
  • drug treatment court (provides intensive support to help people change their lives so that they avoid further legal issues)
  • narcotic strategy programs (for people who are struggling with opioid use, who may or may not want to consider prescription aids to eliminate cravings for opioids)
  • Ontario Works addiction services program (helps people who are unable to get or maintain employment because of substance use or concurrent disorders)
  • peer support (peer mentors meet with clients to share their story of success and to provide motivation and encouragement to clients)
  • friends and family support
  • community outreach (offers presentations to community groups, employers, and other interested groups)
  • individual and group counselling
  • older adult substance use program (assessments, case management and supportive counselling for persons aged 55 and older, in the comfort of their homes or place of residence * this program is designed for older people who needs help for substance use and who have mobility or other complex problem)
  • Peel's Street Outreach for people experiencing homelessness (provide support for people who are homeless and who are experiencing substance use concerns * call 1-877-848-8481 to connect with the Street Outreach team)
