Service Description:
|
Nonprofit organization, administered by volunteers, that provides older adults (55+) with an opportunity to increase their social interaction with others, increase their physical and mental well-being, and maintain and enhance their psychological and physiological well-being through participation in recreational activities and sports.
Members are invited to participate in friendly competition at 17 sporting venues in the summer and 10 in the winter

- provincial winners advance to national games
- Ontario 55+ Winter Games are held in odd years and Ontario 55+ Summer Games are held in even years

- competitors must be members of the Ontario Senior Games Association
- must be 55 by the end of the year the games are being played
