Service Description:
A registered charitable organization that teaches children and youth with physical and/or cognitive disabilities, aged 6 to 19 years, to downhill ski, snowboard, and cross country ski.


Offers evening program for individuals at Glen Eden in Milton and other locations in Ontario
 
Glen Eden Programs
  • Individual program: Tuesday or Thursday evenings 6:30 pm-9 pm
  • Cognitive Specialty Program: Wednesday 6:30 pm-9 pm
  • recruits volunteers 15 years of age and older as instructors and assistants for skiing and snowboarding (Thursdays only for boarding), support staff to help with students inside location and also for events, recruitment and fundraising

Volunteer ski and snowboard Assistant Instructors and Instructors required from the age of 14 years of age and up to help students on hill with their lessons.  Training provided free of charge.  Register here. High school students can earn volunteer hours.
