Service Description: Owned by Mississauga Italian Canadian Benevolent Association, a non-profit corporation, and managed by Chartwell Retirement Residences

160-bed long-term care home * 96 private rooms and 64 basic rooms * 24-hour nursing and personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals
  • bedding and furniture
  • laundry and housekeeping
  • meals
  • personal hygiene supplies
  • medical supplies and equipment (such as catheters, ostomy bags, or wound care supplies)
  • assistance with medication and activities of daily living
  • recreation and social programs

Other services include:
  • physiotherapy
  • restorative care and occupational therapy
  • behavioral management, nursing for Alzheimer's and dementia care 
  • pain and symptom management
  • skin and wound care
  • palliative care
  • enhanced physical care (depending on resident's needs)

Additional services and facilities:

  • hearing aid assessment

Fees: Rates set by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care * subsidies for basic rates may be available for eligible applicants
Application: All applications to long term care homes in Ontario are managed by the Local Health Integration Network - Home and Community Care
