Service Description: A non-profit organization established to assist adults with physical disabilities

Housing and Attendant Services help adults live in their communities and fully participate in the activities of daily living * the service is non-medical and the service philosophy is to support independent, responsible living by the adult with a physical disability * volunteer opportunities available

Deborah's Home
  • a residence for five adults with physical disabilities requiring 24 hour personal and homemaker support

Attendant Outreach Services
  • a service designed to meet the needs of 30 or more adults with physical disabilities
  • personal and homemaking support is provided to eligible adults in their own homes, schools or workplaces in Halton Region

Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International

Fees: Service - Deborah's Home charges rent on a geared-to-income basis * None - for Attendant Outreach program - Personal support services; sliding scale for Attendant Ourtreach program - Homemaking & Companion Services only
Application: Application and needs assessment forms can be downloaded from the website and completed or call the main office directly for an application
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Deborah's Home: Clients must be age 16 or older, qualify for rent subsidy, require a wheelchair accessible living environment and be physically disabled
Attendant Outreach: Persons with a physical disability age 16 or older * has a valid OHIP card * has the ability to direct their own personal support and homemaking services
