Service Description: A collaborative of over 25 agencies in Halton Region lead by Sexual Assault & Violence Intervention Services (SAVIS), that work collectively to support survivors of human trafficking.

The aim of the collaborative is to:
  • let the lived experiences of survivors of human trafficking guide the Collaborative's work and initiatives in the community
  • maintain the Client Centered Support Model
  • this model educates and guides service providers on how best to support survivors who have experienced trafficking and sexual exploitation
  • raise awareness about the realities of trafficking in Halton and surrounding regions through public education and awareness presentations
  • share findings of the project with relevant regional and provincial committees to support the provincial and national efforts being made to counter trafficking in Canada
