Service Description:

Provides a broad range of rehabilitation support services to children and adults with an acquired brain injury or spinal cord injury * focuses on functional activities and cognitive remediation to assist people to achieve their maximum level of independence * evaluation, assessment, and recommendations are prepared by regulated health care professionals * home visits provided * speech and communication skills * behavioral intervention services * recreation therapy * aquatic therapy * technology training * kinesiology services * supported independent living * physical therapy and occupational therapy directed programs * services are tailored to meet individual's needs * services provided in a client's community, school, or workplace
Holistic approach to treatment is incorporated * includes life skills * education * cognitive remediation * activities of daily living skills * vocational support including employment coaching and searching * spinal cord rehabilitation * physical conditioning * community reintegration
