Service Description: 254 units including 1, 2 bedroom wheelchair accessible, and 3 bedrooms units for family * run by Windsor Hill Non Profit Housing Corporation

March of Dimes assists physically disabled adults to live as independently as possible * support services provided in 6 units

Program provides assistance with daily living:
  • personal grooming and hygiene
  • toileting and bowel/bladder services
  • dressing, undressing, bathing, washing
  • rising and retiring
  • meal preparation
  • taking medication
  • essential communication services
  • for existing clients, palliative support can be provided when appropriate



Fees: Supportive housing service are free * market-rent units
Application: Apply for attendant services and housing through Ontario March of Dimes
Eligibility / Target Population: Physically disabled adults who are able to direct their own care * must be 16 years and older with a permanent physical disability or acquired brain injury * require assistance with personal care and activities of daily living * have the ability to direct own care * be a resident of Ontario with a valid OHIP * qualify for Aging at Home program * not be in receipt of insurance funds
