Service Description: Provides a broad range of medical, therapeutic and support services to children from birth to 19 years of age with physical and developmental disabilities, autism, communication disorders, and children who are deaf and blind

Core services include:
  • physiotherapy
  • occupational therapy
  • autism services
  • audiology clinic (including audiology room for hearing-aid fitting and dispensing)
  • blind-low vision early intervention program
  • medical clinic
  • specialty clinics (Botox, feeding/swallowing, nutrition, orthopedic, orthotics, personal care, nursing, rehab, and splinting clinics)
  • assistive device resource service
  • recreation therapy
  • behavior consultation services
  • speech and language services
  • special services at home
  • social work services
  • service navigation
  • nursing services
  • respite services
  • psycho-educational services (comprehensive assessments of cognitive, academic, social-emotional well-being and overall adaptive functioning)
  • transition services (transition to school, transition into the adult service system)
  • controlled multi-sensory Snoezelen room for children with autism or developmental disabilities
  • family resource centre for staff and families (resource and toy lending library)
  • youth drop-in centre
  • volunteer opportunities available

Fees: Medical services are covered by OHIP * physiotherapy services may be covered by OHIP * no charge for eligible clients * patients may be required to pay for certain types of programs and services * call to inquire
Application: Referral is required for most programs and services * medical referral required for OHIP coverage
