Service Description:

A team of experienced cleaners work with clients to address the cleaning and safety needs in their home * offers free cleaning and de-cluttering services to vulnerable individuals, seniors and families

Program Eligibility Criteria:

Must be at risk of homelessness due to the condition of the home
Must live in the Peel Region (Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon)
Must meet the low-income criteria
Must be over the age of 18 years old
Must demonstrate a willingness to make changes and ability to learn new skills
Must be willing to let go of items
Must consent to service

Services include:

Decluttering, thoroughly cleaning and preparing living spaces for pest control services
Providing supportive, hands-on decluttering sessions
Improving home safety for clients returning home from a hospital stay
Ensuring the home meets public health standards for clients who may be facing eviction
Following up with weekly maintenance when appropriate
Helping socially isolated individuals reconnect with family and community
Providing links and referrals to other community supports for long-term needs
