Service Description: Offers family-centred intervention to families of infants and young children from birth to school entry. Services are offered to infants and children who have a developmental delay or to those who are at risk of having a delay in their development. Parent(s) or guardian(s) must live in the Region of Peel and agree to participate in the service. Services include caregiver-mediated coaching, consultation, screening/assessment, and service coordination. Student placements in specific fields of study are offered. Participates in several community planning tables and community collaborations

Application: Parent(s) and Legal Guardians can self-refer by calling our referral line at (905) 568-3806, extension 3203.

With parental consent, Physicians and other Professionals can refer by completing the ICDSP Referral Form available for download on the “How to Refer” section of our website: https://www.icdspeel.ca/how-to-refer. Completed referrals can be faxed to (905) 568-9295.
Eligibility / Target Population: Services are offered to infants and children with a developmental delay, or to those who are at risk of having a developmental delay. This may include:
• Children that have a delay in their development
• Children that are at risk for delayed development due to premature birth, complications at birth, or a diagnosed medical condition
• Children that are born with a condition that is known to cause delays in development
• Children with prenatal substance exposure
• Children who have a sibling with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Children who require support with feeding skills
