Service Description: Services and products for people who are culturally deaf, oral deaf, deafened, and hard of hearing * help to overcome barriers to participation

Programs and services include:
  • accessibility services for individuals and businesses (interpreting, captioning, videoconferencing, deaf blind services, workplace accessibility, communication devices, consulting services)
  • hearing health care
  • counselling and general support services
  • educational programs such as Family Communication Program, Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC), Literacy and Basic Skills, and sign language classes
  • speech and language programs for children and adults * available only at Toronto location
  • settlement program for newcomers to Canada who are deaf and hard of hearing
  • employment services for job seekers
  • audiology clinic (hearing test, hearing aids, assistive listening devices, aural rehabilitation, financial resources, tinnitus consultations, speech language pathology, etc.)
  • communication devices and deaf-blind services
