Service Description:

Registered charitable foundation providing help to those living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (EDS) and related conditions, including chronic pain
Services include:
- providing press kits which include quick links to basic information about the conditions, a layperson’s glossary, basic fact sheets and information about the EDS Canada Foundation
- virtual support groups * advanced registration for each session is required * registration fee of $10 * support groups do not intend to replace individual professional care
- wellness support sessions for those with EDS, Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HDS), and its related conditions including chronic pain or other heritable connective tissue disorders
- pain, advocacy and educational resources
- crisis lines and mental health resources, including Suicide Crisis Helpline: 9-8-8
- agency cannot provide medical or pharmaceutical advice and does not endorse any one method of treatment for people suffering from chronic pain
- fund research to find cures through student grants and knowledge dissemination partnerships
