Service Description: The Centre offers help to individuals experiencing significant addiction and/or concurrent disorders (co-occurring addiction and mental health problems)

Services include:
  • Psychiatric and/or addiction medicine consultation, and diagnostic clarification (service length based on clinical assessment)
  • Concurrent disorders  group treatment (16 weeks x 2 hour weekly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-informed group intervention sessions)

Community Concurrent Disorders Program
  • Case management
  • Crisis management support
  • Community withdrawal management services

Program include:
  • Stage one (consultation and orientation): * prerequisite for further treatment in stage two
  • Stage two (day treatment): for clients who are committed to attening daily wither between 9:30 am to 12 pm or 1:30 to 4 PM for 4 consecutive weeks * medical and psychiatric consultation is available to program participants as required * 
  • Stage three (via community partners (PCHS or PAARC): weekly aftercare group for clients who have completed stage two * available for up to 8 weeks post completion of intensive day treatment (Phase 2)  to help client with their ongoing recovery and maintaining gains.
Also offers the following via community partners (PCHS and PAARC):
  • Family Day Education sessions to learn about concurrent disorders and the role support people can play in recovery
