Service Description: Outpatient program offering psychiatric or psychological diagnostic consultation, specialized assessment, comprehensive psychosocial assessment, treatment recommendations, stabilization and time-limited individual and/or group therapy for children and youth ages 0 to 18 years, and their families * inter-professional team includes an occupational therapist, psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker and speech-language pathologist

Diagnostic criteria: developmental, emotional, behavioral, interpersonal, and psychiatric problems

This service also offers a Rapid Response Team for children, which accepts referrals directly from the Emergency Care Centre and the inpatient Pediatric Unit of Trillium Health Centre * this rapid access to outpatient services can either provide an alternative to hospitalization or decrease the length of a hospital admission, when appropriate

Fees: Medical services are covered by OHIP
Application: Physician referral is required * physician referrals are received via fax and screened through the Peel Children's Intake Network at 905-696-0352
